Restaurant Reviews
Westbourne Tandoori (Bournemouth, England)

The restaurant was visited on Tuesday, 16th Nov 2004 in the evening.
The food ordered was: Chicken Tikka Balti, Chicken Massala, plain naans, poppadoms.
Quality of food
Good, tender chicken and plenty of it. Have visited this cuzza house several times and it's only been mediocre once (food wasn't spicy enough). The lamb has also been good on other occasions.
Quality of service
Can be a bit rushed, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Normally pretty attentive and pleasant enough.
Variety on menu
The average cuzza fan shouldn't be disappointed.
Decor & ambience
Yes, it does look like any other restaurant, but it's a bit brighter than most. Not your typical music, either. Try to get a booth if you can.
Location
On the main one-way system in Westbourne. Parking can be tricky. Peel off left after passing it, then left again straight away - there's a public car park on your left.

In summary
A lot of regulars seem to visit this cuzza house - the staff knew some of them by their first names when I visited (always a good sign). It can get pretty crowded and booking a table doesn't guarantee you'll be able to sit down at your chosen time, but it's worth the effort. Try to visit during a weekday evening to enjoy the experience to the full.
