The restaurant was visited on Monday, 14th May 2007 in the evening.
The food ordered was: Thai green curry, Chicken satay, yum talay salsd, tarragon chicken.
Quality of food
This is cooking on a grand scale, these guys owned a well known place in Derbyshire UK, was told by a resident that the " old yew tree " was booked weeks in advance, plus guested on the BBC.... plus they lived in Thailand for many years, so Thai food was brilliant to say the least, all spices I am informed are brought in from Thailand, And India.
Quality of service
The staff I have known from my many visits to Kas over the years, not pushy, able to chat, told me all dishes are cooked to order, so just enjoy your meal, no problem.
Variety on menu
From Thai, Indian, Spanish, French, What can you say, a bit for everone, plus asian...Tapas, good idea.
Decor & ambience
Enjoiyed our meal on more than one occasion, listening to smmoth low volume music, Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Ella fitchgerald....Nice , Very nice.
Location
Toen centre, in a road of other eating venues...look for very swish standing sign.
Cost
Priced to sell, priced for you to enjoy, also drinks are very well priced, Irish coffee a dream.
In summary
This is what Kas has needed for a long time, a step up the ladder for food.
Plus a nice place to have a glass of wine, and a tapa.
